Quakers in Canterbury welcome newcomers and visitors to share our worship and community which is so precious and sustaining to us all. Newcomers are welcome at all our meetings. We also have monthly discussions, more details on our events page.
We hold meetings for worship in Canterbury Meeting House on Sundays at 10.45am for 1 hour and on Thursdays at 1pm for 30 minutes, both followed by refreshments and the opportunity for informal conversation.
Canterbury Quaker Meeting library has a wide-ranging collection of more than 1400 titles. Some of the areas covered include Quakerism, theology, spirituality and social concerns. Our library is open by arrangement, the catalogue is here.
The Friends Meeting House at Canterbury is at 6 The Friars, CT1 2AS. Map

Safe Haven Appeal
East Kent Quakers have bought a house in Canterbury for refugee families to live in while they settle into the community and become independent. We are refurbishing, furnishing, decorating and adapting the house to make it more accessible. Will you help us finish the work? To donate by BACS please email safehaven@eastkentquakers.org.uk for bank details.
